Your Liars Throne

Your Liars Throne was my band, back in high school for about 5 years. I played bass alongside 4 other members, and we played heavy metal music. I used to design all our artwork too, including our logo, album covers and posters, to which you see just above. The poster is advertising the release of our debut album 'As Two Worlds Collide', and was primarily used for facebook/myspace, however we did print copies to put up in the various venues we played in. I kept the colour scheme very rustic and worn, to emphasise our dark, grungy style. I also used this design to influence our website designs and our gig banner.

Macmillian Charity Event

I was approached by an Events Management student who was putting on this Macmillian Music Event. She asked me to create a simple flyer to help promote the event, and specifically asked me to keep it simple yet bold. The design uses soft colours and text, to indicate this is a family-based event that is light-hearted and quirky.

Triphazard USA Tour

Triphazard are a local electro-pop band who approached me recently asking for a poster design for their up and coming USA promotional tour. The band comprises of twin brothers Mark and Paul Dutch, who play guitar and drums, and singer Steff Stokes who also occasionally plays bass. The band members like to maintain their individuality and are shown here in individual images but are linked in the poster by the fact that they're all together as a band. Steff has quite a sexual image on stage, and her fishnet tights are subtly represented in the background design of the poster. The band colours of yellow and black are also represented throughout the design, alongside the American flag, which although is subtle, adds depth to the overall design.
